The Kal-Haven Trail State Park is a rails-to-trails conversion on the bed of the former. The multi-use trail is for biking, running, walking your dog, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling when there are at least 4 inches of snow. But after tha owner got T boned at 45 miles an hour by a 17 yr old girl who while driving.was was decided that tha BEST SPOT for it at moment was in tha RUSTIC CAMPING SPOT. Located on Kal-Haven Trail and the Black River, 1/2 mile from the public access to the beach and 1/2 mile from downtown South Haven. Kal-Haven Trail State Park is a 33-mile linear state park that connects the cities of South Haven and Kalamazoo.
